Daenerys Targareyn/Bayeux tapestry Cross Stitch by rhaben Daenerys Targareyn/Bayeux tapestry Cross Stitch by rhaben
This just needed to be done. Since the Song of Ice and Fire is set in a medieval world, I felt it only natural to depict the characters in the manner of the tapestry.

The pattern is available in my shops on Etsy and ArtFire

It's look like a child drawing... Soryy, but I don't recongnize Daenerys, juste a girl and a grey horse.
But it's a good job, I don't like it simply. No offense.

I don't think you are familiar with the Bayeux tapestry.  Take a look at that and you will see what I'm doing.  As to my drawing abilities, take a look at some of my other works and you will see that I am quite capable of drawing as a serious artist.

I just share my opinion, thats all. I don't like this style of drawing but if you stitching it, maybe I can change my mind. I don't know the Bayeux tapestry, by the way, and I recognize a diagramm will be strange before he was stiched. I made diagrams myself for cross stitching and the drawing may be very strange sometimes...

Well, sorry if I offense you, it was not the aim.

Have a good day ;)

You need to look at the Bayeux tapestry.  It is very, very old and extremely famous.  The style has been mimicked countless times over the centuries.  If you knew the tapestry, you would understand what I was doing with this.  It is very difficult for me to draw something and look like I don't know how to draw.  So before criticizing a work, you should know what you are talking about first.  In this case, look at the Bayeux tapestry.  You need to speak from a place of knowledge.
